We were appointed as architects for the refurbishment and reconfiguration of 112–114 Great Portland Street, a prominent Edwardian showroom building within the Harley Street Conservation Area. Design inspiration was drawn from the street’s heritage, including its Victorian and Edwardian architecture and long association with the motor trade. Our proposals focused on repairing and enhancing the building fabric, including a new entrance door designed in sympathetic materials that references the arcade above and incorporates subtle automotive motifs.

The project balances conservation-led refurbishment with contemporary functionality, securing the building’s long-term use for offices and retail while respecting its historic character.
