Education.
Teaching is a core aspect of our practice. Directors Harry and Will currently hold teaching positions at the Architectural Association and the University of Central Lancashire, as well as working with many other institutions across the UK. We draw on this experience when working on our educational buildings. We understand how improtant high quality architecture is to the learning outcomes of students and the wellbeing of staff who use these spaces everyday.
Light, Energy & Fabric.
We prioritise daylight, fresh air and natural materials to create healthy spaces for all occupants of our ediucational projects. Our approach is that a well designed space has low-energy requirements as it is compfortable by default.
A low-energy building has low running costs, low maintenance costs and generally a reduced requirement institutional resources ober its lifetime - when those resources should be directed toward leaning outcomes.
